When you click a product link on this site and make a purchase, we receive a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid going direct.

Affiliate links appear in gear reviews, comparison tables, gear lists, and product cards. Any page that contains them carries a disclosure at the top, above the first link, so you know before you click.

Our Promise

Affiliate relationships never influence our reviews or recommendations. We recommend products based on our own testing and experience on the trail. We buy most of what we test with our own money, we take no payment for placement or rankings, and we publish the downsides of every product we cover. Other Revenue

Besides affiliate commissions, FidoHikes sells one product of its own — Meal Plan Pro, a $19 one-time upgrade to our dog feeding calculator. We do not run display advertising, and we do not accept sponsored posts or paid guest posts.
